Pigments

  1. What is the difference between the Original Pigments & the Concentrated Originals line?
The Concentrated Originals have a higher pigment load and corresponding higher color retention compared to the Original Formulas.

  2. How much color retention can I expect in the healed procedure with the Original Pigment Formula versus the Concentrated Original Formula?
Immediately following a makeup tattoo procedure, tattooed area is darker than the final result will be when it heals in four to six weeks. Expect to lose 20-30 percent of the color with the Original Formula and 5-10 percent with the Concentrated Original Formula.

  3. What color should I choose for my client’s procedure?
All skin types, as well as one’s personal preferences in makeup, are different. A thorough makeup tattoo consultation and good communication with your client will ensure their satisfaction. Color testing will eliminate any doubt regarding the final result.

  4. How do I perform a color test ?
A color test or patch test is performed by tattooing an area the size of a freckle in an inconspicuous area such as behind the ear inside the hairline with the color of choice.
